Thank you for the wonderful "mini" concert last night! It was terrific. Michael and I also had a great time on the roof with all of you. What a treat! The museum that we discussed that is in Napa Valley is the di Rosa Preserve. It is worth a trip if you have the time.

We are so excited about having you back! Our audience is still buzzing about your concert last November and anxious for your return. The energy the Enso Quartet radiated from the stage took the concert hall by surprise, and they're still smiling.

Can't say that I agree with another respondent about the Reich piece....my husband and I love it, though it might be different hearing and sitting through it live rather than in the comfort of one's home. Whatever....you all were truly wonderful tonight. The Bartok was extraordinary and the Mendelssohn a revelation. Hope you got to Taylor's for coffee and had an easy drive to Lexington. And...hope you all will return here in the not too distant future.

All the very best,
George and Terry Pickett

Thanks for your Kalamazoo Fontana Chamber Arts performance.

Your performance of the Sibelius quartet was all I might have hoped for. I also enjoyed the Al-Zand piece.

Unfortunately, I disagree with the programming of Reich's "Different Trains" (not your decision, I know). While not entirely without merit, I find it far less musically satisfying than the Sibelius. As I mentioned to Melissa after your performance, there are other "contemporary" works such as Terry Riley's "Salome Dances for Peace" that I much prefer to the Reich piece.

I have purchased (via download) your recording of the Ginastera Quartets. I know little of Ginastera's music, so this will get me started with exploring it more. I wish the Fontana folks had programmed one of those works instead of the Reich.

Best wishes and I look forward to hearing you perform again.
